Drunk and Lost
 

God woke me up at 3 a.m. I felt a call to pray---but why? Trying to wake up and clear my mind, my phone rings minutes later. Its an old friend who is backslidden; he's drunk, calling me from New York City, he's depressed mainly because he's lost. His name is Jon. We talked for 30 minutes and I just got off the phone with him. While praying the Lord impressed me to post a prayer request for my friend for whomever may be up on the forum to solicit their prayers as well.

Thank you for remembering my friend in prayer. I'm afraid he's running out of chances before something terrible happens to him if he doesn't get his life turned around.

Jesus, you hear Jon's cry. He is crying out to You -Lord, as You are calling out to him. Remove all doubt in Jon's heart. Restore and renew Jon into your fold.
