I bought my first gift today!!!! We made the birthdaze simple this yr for the kids (cell phone and bike) so I dont have to cram bday and christmas shopping all at once... so I have actually been able to begin my shopping!!!!


Got hubby some new tools and Madden 08 for his game system (boys will be boys)

I have some Christmas Smileys ready to be added.

I am gonna have to get some mistletoe smileys too I guess since **** is here and **** is too!

I used to brave black Friday for some good deals but it evolved into mostly gimmicks with great deals but on such a limited qty. of items that you would have to pick out what you want most then show up at that store at 4 am to wait in line.

I am too old for that!!!! I do most of my shopping online anyway.

FYI - I was in Nashville, TN over the past weekend and was at the Rivergate Mall. A new Christian Book Store is there and will be there through Christmas holiday. Each book in the store is $5 - novels, Bibles, reference, study books, etc. Some nice books for gifts in case some of y'all are around that area!

Have already seen some Christmas stuff coming out on the shelves amidst the Halloween and Thanksgiving!
