Would this not also be Sis. Priscilla McGruder's father?

Very sad ... God bring peace and comfort.

Yes! TR Mack. We will never see his likes again. Full of life and the Holy Ghost. In his day he could whoop like a wild Commanche and wake up all the sleepy saints on the pews ahead of him. He loved God, his family, and his church. Whenever you stayed at his house, when all the kids were at home, you could expect to be awakened to pray at 5:00 or 6:00 in the morning and if you didn't get up he returned with a belt!!! Laughing all the while. He will be sorely missed here but I'm sure he's still causing quite a stir on the other shore.
Some people make you richer for having known them and Travis McDonald was such a one.

Yes...there are so many children, I forgot about Sis. McGruder. Beverly, Janet, and Julie (I think) are the others.

Amen...I was on the committee planning Sis. Wilson's b'day party at the church many years ago. I called Bro. McDonald and asked if he would make a cassette tape recalling some things from her youth.

He told about the time when she was very young that she baptized 23 baby chicks...drowned them all!! We played it during the b'day service and she loved it.

Truer words were never spoken.... What a man. He was still driving a Sunday School bus bringing children to church well into his 80s. I never thought we would see him pass away. His greatest desire was to meet the Lord in the Rapture and I truly thought Jesus would come before Brother "Mac" died. And as you mentioned.... he could let out a warhoop that would raise the dead. :nod I've seen many a saint jump out of their skin when he did that. :killinme

A true warrior and man of God!!!! Yes, he will be missed! Pray especially for his wife, Sister Lois. She will truly have a rough time adjusting to life without him.

Survived by children: John McDonald, Joy Haney, Janet Jones, Priscilla McGruder, Mary Wilson, Beverly Davies, Julie (I forget her married name)..
(Raven, did I miss anyone? :tiphat)
