I heard a couple of my father's friends years ago tell this story. They were AG and in the early 50's they went to an AG general conference. They heard of a place that would rent televisions(this was before motels furnished them)so they drove through alleys one stood outside and watched the other rented the television they covered it with a blanket in the backseat slipped it into the the room covered the windows with heavy blankets turned it on with the rabbit ears and all they got was snow. They couldn't make out the pictures. So they went through the same process getting it back driving through alleys and traded it went through the same process. Plugged it up AND more snow as they were sneaking it back out an official saw them. They told him "no sin done unless it is a sin to watch snow." Hearing these guys tell this was so funny. They are no longer AG and might sneak other sins in the motel besides a tv now. However one of them is dead.
