weren't A&E already in rebellion before the serpent came along by not having offspring right away?

We don't know how much time passed between the time they were told to multiply and when they disobeyed. We don't know if Eve was pregnant when they disobeyed. Neither do we know whether they had children or not at the time of their disobedience.

We cannot assume anything. Had they borne children, we would have read about it. IMHO.

If they had children before the fall, would not the children have remained sinless after A&E sinned? unless they too ate of the fruit? I believe Cain was the first born.
