I just read that someone was told the WD has been split, is this true?

Yes....

Into northern and southern divisions of the former WD. It had nothing to do with resolution #4.

I would assume it is different camp meetings, different youth functions.

I dont want to come across as uncaring....but...

generally speaking we are talking about friends that are seen only 2 or 3 times a year at district events.

so these are not cases of best friends from across the street that are no longer allowed to see each other.

the thing that really hurts these kids is when their churches fall on different sides of hte UPCI WWPF divide. THAT is where the real hurt is.

It was used as a scare tactic that the young people would never be allowed to fellowship with each other again with the formation of the new district....that all functions would cease. Obviously, that tactic has worked. UPC Teen...feel free to attend other functions in the new districts. Friendship does not cease over district boundaries.
