On this day, Sunday, October 4th, 1981 ...
A Sunday school teacher, after teaching on faith, asked her students to fill out one petition they had that only God could answer. Each student did as instructed. Then, the students and teacher prayed with faith over them. A young 8 year old boy wrote his heart's desire - to be filled w/ the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
That evening, at a simple altar, in a storefront church in the Bronx, New York, a weeping boy's lips began to stammer and then began to speak a heavenly language. His petition was answered. He was endued w/ the power of the Holy Ghost that flowed in the heart of this enamored child. Thank you Lord for your power, everlasting love, tender mercy and grace. Thank you Sister Carmen Nolasco for praying w/ me. |

I have one coming up myself next week. ;) |
Good memories Dan. Do you think this good sister had any idea of the "force" you would become? I have learned to wait a moment to reply to your posts until I hear the "other shoe" drop!!!
