Conservatives - What books do you read?

Just thought I would ask the cons and ultra cons to list books that they read. And please do not list just the standbys that you read 30 times now. (Verbal Bean, Larry Booker, the Bible etc.)

What else do you read??

Devotional reading: Almost anything by Max Lucado. Even if he's not apostolic, I really enjoy his books.

Pleasure reading: The mystery suspense novels by Terri Blackstock, a few of the series by Karen Kingsbury & Dee Henderson.

What about "liberals"?

I was about to list some of my study materials and books that I read during my morning devotionals then I realized you may think of me as a liberal.

I really don't like be pigeonholed by being labeled a liberal, con or ultra con. During my walk with God, all of those labels applied at one time or another.

This reinforced why I don't like labels. Forcing someone to have to characterize themselves with labels only leads children of God feeling excluded.

Well, have a blessed Sunday my con, ultra con brother.

Anything written by Apostolic authors...(I assume)

I read anything written by Verbal Bean.

Of course the Verbal Bean stuff, or anything written by T.W. Barnes.

I am currently reading "The Vanishing Conscience" By John MacArthur, and re-reading "The Mischief of Sin" by Thomas Watson, a Puritan author.

I hate to admit this almost, but I am also reading "God's Reach" by Glen Clark.

Finney's autobiography is also a favorite.

Read the Battlefield you would enjoy it. It is a must for those who love Elder Bean.

I've read
Prayer
Works of the Holy Ghost
and
Battlefield
by Eld. Bean

I've also given a copy of Prayer to my brother-in-law

As far as I know those are the only Verbal Bean books available.
