The Engaging Church
Yesterday, I attended a church growth seminar in Birmingham, AL.
One word can sum it all up: OUTSTANDING! I thoroughly enjoyed the material that they taught and was able to clearly see the gaping holes that plague many Pentecostal churches nationwide in regards to keeping and integrating our guests. http://www.outreachtraining.com/engagingchurch.htm |
:runhills Another non-Oneness method being incorporated into our churches.......

I'm an advocate of no-nonsense Biblical principles.... regardless of who may or may not like them.... they brought good material to the table.... no regrets here.... :pirate I was going to offer info via PM; perhaps it would be better not to *pollute* anyone.... :D |

Most of the main-stream church leadership books are written by trinnies.... they have LOTS of great info, one can easily seperate the true spiritual wisdom they describe from their false doctrinal "salvation" message.... not sure why this was even brought up.... were you just saying that for the following effect: Trinnies: 1 OP: 0 |
Sounds great!
We many times have the reason for church all mixed up - Pastor Cupples just said this weekend that church is for the lost, not the saved! Any help in getting the lost to where they need to be is good help! |
When I first read the title, I thought this was going to be a church where people got hooked up with a mate! :D

I have no problem with using trinity people for ideas on church growth and follow up.
I am putting together some material on follow up and it is based on principles I learned when I worked in sales. I agree with the author's statements about being able to seperate spiritual wisdom and the false doctrine on salvation they teach. If you can't do this then you don't belong in leadership yet. |
