Anybody going to be getting COD 4: Modern Warfare?

We downloaded the demo, and I watched hubby play this last week. It looks very promising! :thumbsup Almost like a combination of BF and COD. They brought out the BIG guns to play with! :lol



Another interesting game that's coming out...

Team Fortress 2. It took 7 years in the making, and it has an almost cartoon-like quality to the game play.

It reminds me a bit of Enemy Territory. Very fast moving. But it looks like it would be a riot to play! I can see myself running around as the medic trying to keep my teammates alive! :pirate

Well, you guys are much more sophisticated than I am, I'm a Sims girl myself! LOL!! My daughter could probably hold her own with you though!

I can't wait to play this game, I have loved this series and all of the reviews seem to compare it to Halo 3 which I am trying to learn how to play. I tried to download the BETA for xbox 360 but it was closed to new downloads, anyway will buy it the day it comes out.

Lol...I was playing COD2 yesterday, and my son came up behind me and reached around me to play while I was reading something...he totally made my stats look MUCH nicer in that minute or so! :pirate

TF was always a little like that, but not close. I wonder if this is based on the HL2 engine. BTW how about Enemy territory: Quake Wars?

QW is similiar in play to ET but based on the Quake world before Q2 and the Doom 3 engine
