Good News For Those St. Louis Pentecostals!

Those UPC Pentecostals working for the Mothership in St. Louis got some good news today!

I read a news report that has stated that Detroit has surpassed St. Louis as the most dangerous city in the USA.

That should be a comfort to those Pentecostals trapped....er.....living in St. Louis.

(I had always thought of St. Louis as some kind of nice midwestern haven until my son drove through there a few months ago and told me that from the interstate it looked like a war zone. Then I did a little research and found out how bad things are there.)

I have a good friend who lives there and it is very dangerous.

I'm not sure how it is today , but 10 yrs ago I attended a regional town hall meeting in KC ;that Sears Service was doing. I remember Sears techs comparing notes. The techs in St Louis said in certain neighborhoods they always sent two guys.

In our metro (10 yrs ago, not sure now, I've changed jobs) our tech said it wasn't an issue even in the questionable areas. He was the emerg furnace/water heater tech and often got called out at night. He said he went alone and never had a problem...but 10 yrs ago St Louis was a tad unsafe //

So perhaps it is still a concern if you live in the inner city of St Louis proper.:thumbsdown

Hazelwood is to East St. Louis is what Tustin is to East LA....a huuuuge divide!

As long as they aren't wearing their UPCI blue do-rag (bandana) on their commute to work, they should be okay.

Memphis didn't fare well in that report either.
