Not leaving UPC
With all the talk about who's leaving, my pastor announced that he's not leaving.
BTW, my pastor is against tv, and was against WD split. He said when a house is on fire, you don't leave and let it burn, but try to save it. ARPH :doggyrun |

I choose to not leave for the time being myself. |
he was just referring to himself.

And in the scope of things, it just is all incomprehensible to me... They do not separate over baptism, but over wedding rings and such...blows my mind. But, this is an issue I do not have the power or smarts to fix...so I am resigned to letting Almighty God have His way. I am praying for your pastor and all who have these important decisions to make...I have a brother who is a UPCI pastor and he likewise is standing in the valley of decision. |

I liked the idea, only think with other events being staged, it should have waited a year or two. It perhaps is 5 years too late in happening. |

why was you against the WD split ? All of Southern CA. alone has a population of 20 million. During peek traffic, it can take 3-4 hours just to drive from L.A to S.D The reason so many of the pastors there are fighting it is, they don't like who is at the top of the bucket. |

So what are you going to do ? isn't your pastor leaving ? |

Jumping the gun is foolish! |

PM, some are indeed just making rash decisions based on Men they try to immulate. however, many of these men have been planning this for years |

What's the problem with that? Do you know how long it takes to drive from one end to the other? like 10 hours or so. What other district has to deal with that? This way campmeetings will be more centralized to a smaller group, meaning more people can go and not have to drive for 7-8 hours |
