Re: Unvaccinated children will be refused healthca

Re: ILG - Vaccine Hysteria

ndavid, you can report to VAERS without involving your doctor and I would encourage you to do so. Doctors often claim it's coincidence or couldn't possibly be related to the vaccine so adverse...

Re: This Makes #2 on the List, REALLY???

Really, they're just saying they support traditional marriage. They don't mention homosexuality at all. They might be firmly supporting the idea that people should get married and not just live...

Re: Prayer and help for marriage

Dichotomy Girl gave great advice.

When I had my first baby it was HARD. Really, really, really hard. I say her first 3 months were the longest 3 months of my life. My DH was not the most...

Re: Respect as Women

Education regarded as unnecessary for women, tolerating abuse of women, women coming in to clean up after men's events, preaching from the pulpit that clearly indicated women shouldn't do anything...

Re: Respect as Women

I think respect for women varies among churches.

I've been to some churches where women were definitely treated as second class. It was fairly shocking to me, because that wasn't how it was in...

Re: Do you carry your gun in church? Should you?

Re: Extreme Parenting -according to TIME

Well, it really is a personal decision for each mother-child pair to determine. If it were up to my daughter she would probably still be nursing now, at 5. I decided I was done when she was 3 1/2....

Re: Extreme Parenting -according to TIME

Do you have any reasoning or scientific evidence for why breast feeding should cease at this point?

Because the American Academy of Pediatrics and World Health Organization would both disagree...

Re: Your Greatest Need

I couldn't let this pass. I do teach my daughter that she is equal. Where on earth do you get the idea that girls are not equal to boys? It seems I was blessed that while growing up in the UPC, I...

Re: Extreme Parenting -according to TIME

Once again, Miss B. is the voice of wisdom.

I breastfed my daughter until she was 3 1/2, never once while we were both standing with her on a stool, though. :heeheehee
