Try telling someone you took a horse and buggy five miles to church, then listened to High German sermon even though you and most in attendance were more fluent in another German dialect or English. Why? Well why not? We have done this for four hundred years! Lol!

Following this we would sing a few slow monotone hymns, wiyh the same words and in similar fashion as our persecuted brethren did while fleeing persecution and hiding in caves.
