Some just say that I seem to be a little partial to mine, on again and off again during the 60's, and on since 1970.
Oops! A number of years ago I did shave it off for about four months at the 'suggestion' of a pastor (big mistake!).
Of course, that did give my wife her first and only opportunity to see me without a beard. True statement! She was quite pleased when I grew it back.
