My message to AMS:

I recently came along this religious site that attributed, what was
most likely the major bolide that occurred on January 11th, to an act
of God approving their religious retreat.

Also, the article stated that someone in your organization visited the
church and somehow confirmed this was not a meteor.

"The following day after the fireball sighting, the American Meteor
Society showed up looking for the the supposed meteorite. After
searching for two days, they finally gave up and concluded it was not
a meteor."

Did any one in your organization take such action?
