Re: The "Gap"?
The Bible's cosmology is very ambiguous when speaking of the period of time known as "in the beginning." I don't subscribe to the "Gap Theory" myself. It has its merits, but it ultimately strikes me as a Fundamentalist method of attempting to deal with reality.
Better to leave our 200 year old Fundamentalism aside and accept the Bible as written on the terms that its writers originally intended.
