His time away from his family is due to the decision to pursue this as a full time income. With, of course, hopes of having a church pastorate as a full time income later on. At which time he will, in all probability, have to completely uproot his entire family and move them to another location.
If the message is the one people have to hear. Great.
But they can hear it from others. He isn't the only messenger.
The message of God's word and His love is important. But the way it affects his time with his family was a career choice.
