Well, it's mostly done, but the floor, area rug, chairs & a media center was derailed in favor of a new aerobic septic system (which we did desperately need, so I'm not complaining too much). I probably won't get to finish it until next summer, BUT here's what I did do:
* Painted the walls a soft gray. I love the new color. It makes me feel calm.
* Recovered my headboard in a yellow quilted fabric.
* Bought white & yellow floral shams and a blanket that I have folded at the end of the bed.
* Hung up silver curtains and new curtain rods.
* Rearranged the bedroom so that we have a defined seating area, workout area and then the bed/dresser.
* Bought two throw pillows for the bed in that pretty berry color.
Oh, and I did find a cute little bedside lamp for my side of the bed--at Goodwill for $10. That kind of stuff always makes me happy.
That's as far as our budget could go, but when it's completely finished I promise I'll post pictures.
Maybe I'll take a picture of the bed later so you can at least see the colors.
