Perhaps being separated
for a time from the world is not a bad idea. People must get rooted and grounded in the Word of God and grow their faith.
However, people must also remember that one cannot hide their light under a bushel and expect to bring forth fruit. At some point in time we are expected to grow up and sow seed in the world. That means we also need to learn to disciple people. Not an easy task.
There is plenty time for you, Sethern, to learn and grow in the Lord. Please do not lose your zeal but examine what you learn with the Word of God. God will help you to develop your own convictions and not what somebody else teaches you that you are supposed to be "convicted of".
