1) Well, this could be true on some planet, but I have been mingling with them for like 25 years now, in the West Bank, all through the Sinai...and I've never had a problem? They knew I was a Christian.
2) This strikes me as wrong by def...what dangerous philosophies and commandments are you referring to?
3) What I dislike about it is that it mischaracterizes Islam, and the Qur'an, which states like every other page that when you resort to violence, you are no longer in Islam, and my experience with them bears this out; our most heated theological discussions seem to revolve around Godhead, and hours spent at this have led me to conclude that they reiterate what Christ said of Himself while incarnate; "Son of Man," while the Qur'an states that Christ was sent as an example.
Also, being witness to both sides, and to some little Muslim extremism, I have to say that Muslims are much less apt to attempt proselytizing, or exporting their beliefs; or to exporting quarrels, either. My knee-jerk feeling is that the US mostly
makes the extremists, but I can't really verify this. I can certainly verify who is the more oppressed, and it isn't Christians...most Muslims lead a life that we would consider unthinkable.
I am convinced that our Government perpetrated 911 on us, and I note over half of our own pop thinks so too, now. If they would do that to us, what would they do to them?
There is a lot that I don't know; but I sure don't trust the party/Fox news line to fill me in.
