For once I would love to see one of these pastors who has been in sexual sin to voluntarily come forward and confess before seeking restoration. It seems they don't become repentant until they are caught.

In any case most of these Pastors of large Pentecostal churches have enough money and/or investment property and mutual funds to get by for a very long time. Not to mention the large financial settlement it is said he is seeking from the church. If I were the church I would give him nothing but a box to put his personal things in from his office. Who I feel sorry for is his family.
Did I say to sweep it under the rug? No. I did not. I just said people need to stop speculating and spreading lies. The original posting on this story, which you happened to post, was mostly a lie. If you don't know the truth, quit putting lies on this public forum that hurt already wounded people.
But I guess I would have to say hurt people, hurt people. You must be one that was hurt by an Apostolic church, so you seek some kind of retribution by making sure you make it public every negative thing that happens in an Apostolic church. While I don't think that things need to be "swept under the rug" or be kept secret, I do think that things like this have a tendency to make people who need salvation shy away from it. Bro. Black and his transgressions and sin are not a representation of the Apostolic church or TPC, but his actions could turn people away from God, citing hypocrisy in the church. THAT is why I think all of this needs to stop. We are not the only ones reading these forums. How do you know that what you have written on here hasn't caused a lost sheep to falter and turn away? Think on that.
