First, you say a woman being raped is just like someone getting drunk and hitting someone. And then you have the AUDACITY to sit here and compare the vile act of rape to your son's bike being stolen??? This can't be real.
LOOOL, and then you open your scatterbrained mouth AGAIN, to spew more NONSENSE on how a woman being raped is similiar to someone driving drunk and running a red light.
You are a DISGRACE to all womankind.

Please keep this discussion respectful and not take to throwing insults at people you disagree with. It doesn't show good character, IMO.
I wasn't intended to compare ANY woman raped to other crimes or offenses. I was comparing the responsibility we have to protect ourselves in all situations and when we allow ourselves to get to a point where we cannot do that, I believe we are responsible in part for what may happen. This isn't 'broad brush across the board' of course because I realize situations vary. As a woman, I do what I can to keep myself protected from anything bad that may happen to me.
I don't flash money around. I don't drink to the point of being inebriated. I don't use drugs. I don't disclose my location online and when I'll be leaving town. I don't walk in dark places alone. I don't meet strangers alone. I don't take meds from people I don't trust with my life.
Now, this doesn't mean nothing bad will ever happen to me, however, if I make myself vulnerable through my own actions, I believe I'm somewhat responsible for what happens because I put myself in that situation!
Also realize that what I'm posting is my opinion which I also live by. You may not agree and that's your right but living by what I believe doesn't make me disgraceful and I'm sorry you feel that way.
