Matthew 7:20
"
So then, you will know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter."
Many times I hear people speak (or even read their comments/posts) who claim their "fame" to being a Christian yet all the while hiding behind their church or their God and the lie of what they live. No, I am not God nor am the one who will judge them , but do they know others are watching them? Do they realize they can very well be a stumbling block to some? And finally....do they even care? My daughter and I was in Argos over in Bristol a while back (the UK's version of Wal-Mart) and we seen these ladies who appeared to be Pentecostal, long dresses, hair up and listening to them speak of the UPC church they belonged to.........and my daughter accidentally bumped into one of them and she said with a polite smile, "I am so sorry, pardon me" .... the ladies were extremely rude and their attitudes were horrible. They never uttered one word, glared as if in contempt for us bc we were in jeans, turned and walked off . My daughter looked at me and simply stated...."this is why I don't ever want to go back to church. People lie about what they are." However, I have met a very few people in my life who live a true example of being a Christian and for that I am thankful. I wanted to say thank you to a few people I have met on this forum who have always shown such kindness , love and compassion.

I remember a preacher saying one time..."When you take your eyes off the Cross, and focus on man, you will fall every time. Always keep your eyes on God".
