I can't prove you wrong on this, but I don't believe Jesus would have said three nights if there wasn't three nights. Again I agree that a partial can be counted as a whole. Jesus explicitly said night and I just can't get past that. The burial did take place on Friday therefore fulfilling them taking Jesus body during the preparation (
Lk 23).
