Why did Jesus single him out?
"Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing."
John 20:27
Especially after he had said in
John 11:16 "Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples,
Let us also go, that we may die with him."
