Not at every turn. But it needs to be said. The KJV is all kinds of messed up. Take a Strong's Concordance and looks up some words and see for yourself. I've read the thing 20X or more. I'm telling you, as far as translations go, it's not as good as others.
But that's not the biggest deal. The issue is how so many people swear by it being flawless, and have come to some poor doctrinal conclusions due to the translation issues present.
A greater understanding of the socio-political milieu of the times in which the KJV was created would benefit us all. Just because it doesn't have a copyright on it doesn't mean it's the best translation available.
I'm not saying the saving message of the Gospel can't be discerned or obeyed from it. Much of it is good, but some of it is way off. The portions that are way off concern me, because they have caused many people to be abused and mistreated by supposed order of divine fiat, since the "Bible says...", when it doesn't actually say. Rather, the KJV mistakenly says...
