Mostly conspiracy. It's like reading the End Times Magazine or anything by Jonathan Cahn(man). They're grasping at anything and most of it is rubbish.
The issue with Mineo and most other Christian artists isn't the occult, it's that they're NOT a Christian. They have found a willing audience, fame and an easy paycheck singing and playing "Christian" songs. The "Gospel" rappers, and others are mostly in it for the money and aren't living a life holy or acceptable to God.
I am close friends with a guy who is a DJ and does work with a lot of these "Christian" rappers like Mineo, Davis Absolute, Social Club, Skrip and other local acts. I haven't met Mineo personally, but for a time I was following him and other rappers on Twitter and FB. Mineo tweeted how it was okay to curse. It's okay to drop the f-bomb and use curse words, that Christians are too uptight and the bible doesn't say you can't curse. He said it isn't so black and white, that Christians need to know grey is okay.
One of the groups I've met is Social Club. One of the rappers wore a triangle t-shirt, though it was upside down. I asked him about it and he said it's meant to be upside down as an insult to the illuminati. Most of these guys are intentionally doing these things thinking it's funny to mess with Christians.
I was completely disappointed with the artists I've met. Very few are any kind of Christian. Most are anything but.

Never really been into Christian rap or heard of any of the groups you mentioned.
My dad used to play with a southern gospel group.
The pianist/baritone/guitarist was a chain smoking, adulterous, severe compulsive liar.
Me and my dad had a running joke,"Well we know he's not lying about being able to play the piano cause we have seen him do it."
Yeah musicians are people too just like the rest of us.
Does God use them in spite of their flaws?
Well who else did He use in scripture despite their flaws?
Literally everyone.
That doesn't mean that He accepts their flaws it just mean that He has a plan and He is using flawed humans in that plan while simultaneously working on them to change to be more like Him.
When I was on the ambulance on on a call if I needed a extra set of hands I had no hesitation in "recruiting" a onlooker into helping.
I'd give a crash course in chest compressions, get them going doing it right while I helped the medic spike bags and get his intubation kit ready.
Was the onlooker qualified? No but he was there and available and saving the patient was more important than his lack of qualification.
