Rhondi, of course many on this forum will not "hear" this direction because Rick and Kay are Baptists. Too bad, they may miss a important input to their lives, or maybe they can hear in spite of this fact.

It is funny that people have selective hearing...how many of our Apostolic Churches have taught from his book,
The Purpose Driven Life, but miss the value that can be gleaned from the life and experiences of others.
Crakjak, I believe many do hear and put into practice these basic principles. I know many good leaders who allow people to work in the area of their calling without 'submitting' to unreasonable demands to prove loyalty to themselves, or a body of believers for 6 months to a year before using them.
Purpose and destiny are there for each of us...those with an ear to hear...let him hear [not necessarily talking about the ears on both sides of our faces
!] I thank God that Rick Warren and his wife have added meaning to many a Christian's walk with God. Their purpose is obvious.
