I don't know that one needs the Holy Ghost and eternal life to translate a papyrus from Greek to English. Lots of people like to use the "oh, you use a trinitarian bible therefore...." and then tack on whatever nonsensical conclusion they feel the need to promote that particular day. To which I always ask "Oh, so you're an Anglican, then?"
I get what you're saying. But why wouldn't God entrust the translation and preservation of His Word to His church?
