Alastair McGarth isn't Yahweh God and whilst his opinions are of importance, they don't hold the same weight as Scripture. The issue is this do you see any relationship between the use of the Aaronic blessing formula of Numbers 6 and Christian baptism (Matthew 28) as both formula's are referred to later on in Scripture. My first post has proven that there is a definite link.
