But, that is just not only found in Christianity. But every religion under the sun. From politics to prophets, grifters rise up to not only destroys bank accounts but peace of mind. The minute an individual believes someone else is closer (or has some special connection) to God than they do. The decay begins. No one is smarter, or more spiritual, or has a patent on “the Truth” Everyone has a shot, and opportunity to get full revelation of Truth. Ministry is supposed to walk with you, not 6 feet ahead of you. Where you can never catch up. The minute a preacher tells a saint of God, “do you think you’re more spiritual than me!?!” Guess, what? The obvious answer is, YES.
