This is so true. It really does come down to the spirit of a man. Perhaps this is why
Proverbs 20:27 says,
"The lamp of the LORD searches the spirit of a man ; it searches out his inmost being."God is much more concerned about the spirit of a man, than the appearance of a man. When a person has a right spirit, he understands the significance of submitting to those whom God has placed in authority over him. A truly humble person no longer demands their own rights, but submits to what is most beneficial for the general good of the body as a whole.
