Not being able to feel God is not hard when you are catholic.I was
catholic for years and never felt God until I began praying aloud alone
and worshipping with my guitar.God then led me out of darkness.When
a person is so bound by religon that they cannot hear the Voice of God
leading them out of the darkness I am sure the voice will cease.Its
called searing your conscience.What a shame that such a good
person did not receive all that God had for her.No one wants an
empty life devoid of God's presense.Those hard years she speaks of
were surely the years God was having mercy on her.
