What are property taxes like in Surrey? I've found the tax
rate here in the Calgary area to be far lower than in NB. The actual taxes I pay are higher due to the much higher property values but the rate is much lower....
I read an article in the Province when I was in BC a few weeks ago that the average for a 3 bedroom house in greater Vancouver is right around the $700K mark - just crazy......It's hovering around $500K here - also crazy!! Especially when I look at the mls.ca site and see what I can get in Fredericton or the Saint John river valley area for under $200K.... Maybe I should go back - LOL!
