What's the big deal with a registration fee??
complain about how they spend money then complain when they try to offset overhead cost..scream audit as if they are skimming off the top.
I wonder if anyone has any clue what it costs to host one of these functions - the hours involved and the expense....
and to insinuate some level of wrongdoing? shameful.
do I think they make the best decisions? no, I think they could probably save money if they did things differently - but we are all experts. Someone always has a better idea...
this hollering "audit" and oh the humanity that I'd have to pay a registration fee and then the fact that you cannot access areas without proof of registration.....
man, this is just crazy
you cant pay, or dont agree with it, stay home.
dont like the way they run things, go elsewhere or find some way to help, to be constructive - to make things better.
this constant complaining...man, it gets OLD.

Not sure if this is directed toward my comments about being a little bitter at the reg. fee or not....but for the record, I have never cried foul on how they spend the money, nor called for an audit or any of the above........I just dont like the fee.....and they would have gotten more in a good offereing from us then this fee......kinda like when the waitress or waiter adds that 15-18% on the check.....they just cost themselves about 10-20% on a tip as I am a very heavy tipper..........
and it has nothing to do with cant pay............pure and simple.... I just dont like it.........i voted FOR higher dues..........I give in the offereing......to me it is like they are saying.....hey, you are not doing your part........
