What I meant by what might seem like a dumb question .... (but there are no dumb questions, right?
) ... is that with the vehicle computer systems you need a computer to read the vehicle system and see what's gone wrong where and you can't fix things yourself like you used to be able to do years ago.
Maybe it's still possible to change your own oil, but I think it may not be as easy now with some of the new cars.
Not sure really.
