Just generally speaking...it's usually NOT a good idea to state something just because you suspect it or even have a good reason to "think" or "know."
Now, if someone actually KNEW something, and didn't tell me, I wouldn't appreciate it.

Well these (mostly) were people who had first-hand information about what they were talking about, people who had seen things and never said a word. Because "they didn't know if I already knew about it". ??????? In that situation, I think a friendly,prayerful, "I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not" probably is in order.
