I can't say that I remember too many funeral sermons at all. The ONLY one that I remember I wish that I didn't. The deceased was a member of the church and none of his family was, so the minister decided to scare the holy life out of all of them (they were Catholic) and screamed the whole sermon about getting their lives right so they too could go to heaven.

It was a total embarrassment!

I remember some of my mom's funeral sermon because the minister referenced many personal things about my mom that really touched our hearts!
