I can see why people would think this if they just drove thru Fresno. much of the westside has been deserted.
but Fresno has grown tremendously! the nice part of fresno is nestled against the sierra mountains- it's very nice.
also, Donald Trump is building a world class golfing resort right in the city fo Fresno. also, the downtown is finally seeing signs of life.
fresno area now has 1 million people
