I know we're all surprised at this, but...
The title says "keynote" speaker, which to me means that she was specifically invited to address the church.
ALL of the candidates were invited, and she was the only one to show. That, to me, doesn't mean keynote, and takes some of the blame/responsibility (only a little) off of Warren. I would imagine that if he's the Christian he says he is that he was quite disappointed that she was the only one to show and make such an impact on his conference.
