I respect you for that. For some reason, I just feel that real deeply every time I hear this song now. Maybe because my Dad was an alcoholic when I was growing up, I feel your pain, although my Dad didn't leave and is still alive. We do have a relationship and some things have been mended, but some things will never change. I can't get my childhood back...
