Everybody believes in
Acts 2:38. But there are different interpretations of what Peter was saying there.
I believe it in the Oneness Apostolic tradition. Namely that you must repent, you must be baptized in Jesus name and then there is the promise of the Spirit.
I didn't even have to have anyone to tell me to repent. I did that as a natural result of Holy Spirit conviction, realizing I was a sinner and in need of a Savior. Repentance was the natural and immediate response to realizing I was a sinner.
