Re: One Accord's Wife Passed Away 2/6 at 1:07 a.m.

I just wanted to check in and say hello. Everything is okay. My family and friends just left, and I'm getting busy trying to straighten things up some. But, like a typical man, I don't really know where to start- byt, I'll start somewhere.

The service was beautiful. The kindness and comfort expressed by everyone really helped me thru the last couple of days. Gonna be rough, but, well, I've got a Friend here with me and all will be well.

I want all to know I apprecaite the flowers sent bu you- my AFF family. I made sure everyone knew that the flowers were sent by people I don't know from places I have never been. And that these people, are Chritains who truly care and have prayed earnestly for Lola, my self and for them. I am so touched by your Christian expression of love and, all of this, has changed my life. Hopefully, others will change as well, but theres definitely some changes in me.

First, I haven't been actively involved in church much. For one reason, there are no Apostolic churches in our immediate area. We've attended churches around and about some, but, well, they aren't Apostolic. I'll do some looking around and I'll find a church home.

Another thing- Gonna do some travelling. Always wanted to ses Arizona, and, as soon as I can rake up some money, gonna take a trip out west. Along the way, I'd like to put some faces on some of the names of the good people on this forum. Theres some I definitely want to meet- so, I may be in touch by PM.

One AFF "ambassador" that I was priveleged to meet was Bro. and Sis Raven. They were kind enough to attend the funeral and gravesite services, though they had to cope with this cold Sand Mountain wind. Then they came to our house and visited awahile. What fine and godly people. I was so honored to have them and felt like the Centurion who said "I am unworthy to have you in my home". Exceptional people- and it was an honor to meet them

And I deeply appreciate all of you. That first nigt I was alone after Lolas passing, I have to admit... I wouldn't have made it without your posts. I was lost. Still am... but your prayers, your posts, and your friendship gives me something to hold to. And- it will be well.

My condolances to the family of RevDDW. My prayers are with you that you will be blessed with God's comfort- that your tomorrows will be bright, and that eternal hope will give you strength in those lonely times.

Will post a picture of the flowers you sent when I can figure out how to get them off my cell phone. Thank you again and now.... lets finds something to talk about... Anybody heard anything new about Tulsa?
