Kutless, ive told this story a number of times, dont know if you have read it or not.

My great grandmother was what they called a "shouting methodist".

This was before the Azuza street revival. Many methodists in the late 1800s (and i suppose even before that) were shouting methodists.

My great grandmother had the Holy Ghost before the movement began. My grandfather who was never pentecostal, told me he remembered watching his mother go out to the woods where she had a stump she would sit on and pray. He said she would "Go get sactified" and she would "Talk funny"

all this long before pentecostal preachers came to our neck of the woods.
