Maybe pray 15 minutes then worship 15 minutes. Then pray in the Spirit 15 minutes then pray in the understanding 15 minutes. Know and believe that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.

Daniel prayed 3 times a day. Paul prayed day and night. There are lots of things in scripture to encourage prayer. Our flesh generally rebels against time in prayer. Yet nothing is more important.

As a young Christian it seemed about an hour a day should be normal. Yet if we are not hearing from the Lord or seeing him move in our life then seek till he does. It is appropriate to pray long seasons of prayer. After all we are fellowshipping with Jesus.
