Donna and Frank were going to Bro. Paslay's church before they moved to Michigan. I think there was some kind of fallout between Frank Mink and Bro. Paslay about some funding. I think one considered it a gift and the other considered it a loan.
When I first came to Cincinnati in 1957 I came with Ken Wilson and Dale Simpson. Dale later married Doris Durham's sister, Shirley Bantley. I lived with Ken Wilson's family for a while. His brother Jack (married to Shirley and had a son named John plus an older daughter) wound up staying with the church and Bro. Buller when the Paslays left. At one time Dale rented a basement in Hillsboro, OH (I think this was 1959) and we went out there and painted, etc. and held meetings. I preached for him for a three night meeting but nobody came. Later he was unable to pay the rent and gave that up.
I know where High Point is. One time some of us from the Carthage Apostolic Church went to a park there and held a meeting but there was no response. We had singing and I preached. That summer we went to a couple different areas of Cincinnati and once to Norwood across from Surrey Square and held street meetings. I don't even remember when that was but I guess it was the early nineteen seventies.

You know you are bringing many things back to my memory. I talked to my Mom tonight. I asked her about you. SHe said the name Jim Ellis did ring a bell. I do remember now the Durhams did have antother son name David.
I remember when we lived there that he had some problems.
Thanks for catching up.
I am sure we have been in church together in the past...
God Bless...
