Your name and the mention of your Dad starting a church in High Point with the Durhams in late 1976 do not trigger any memories. In 1976 I was going to the Carthage Apostolic Church. I was sectional youth leader for the ALJC. I preached in some of the Tuesday night youth meetings, plus some times filled in for Bro. Sizemore preaching or teaching. Some times my wife sang. One song she sang often was "The Family of God." We had three sons and two daughters. We left that church in 1978 some time (it might have been 1979). I had grown a mustache and Bro. Sizemore preached on a Sunday night, "The Bible says that a man should be clean shaven." We never went back.
