Apparently his view was that someone would not wear a shirt that says 'Jesus the Christ' then why wear Tommy, Polo, etc. There was a guy from the church that was a good friend of mine and he told me that he would 'never' wear those things with Tommy's name and such, but yet he had a big NIKE Swoosh in the back window of his truck. Go figure

It can cause trouble because it could be seen as identifying with that life style. I do wear their clothing from time to time, though not because of the name sake. I think that the sin factor has little to do with their clothing though the do sell something that if I were a girl I would be scared to wear. I do remember on time in Knoxville I believe I went into one the A&F store and one of the female employees was wear one of their swimsuits as her work out fit. It shocked me cause I was not expecting it. That kinda stuff ought to be kept for a private swim, it was a little too revealing.
