No they are at church she was edifying. Soul winning is what those in the church go a do to sinners. So do you think it would be better if she had said ohh let me have some finger nail polish. I don't see anything negative about these childrens books but I see much negative about your attitude towards them. If you don't think you will like them then don't read them.
